Creation of a visual identity for Cézanne’s studio and sites linked to its career: the Bibemus quarries, the Bastide du Jas de Bouffan and the In the Footsteps of Cézanne circuit. The objective of this project is to graphically inscribe the painter’s universe in modernity and to dust off the image of the traditional museum.
Cézanne is considered the « father of modern art », his paintings are characterized by a real research on geometry. Indeed, Cézanne is one of the precursors of Cubism; we even speak of Cézanne Cubism. The logotypes and the communication made around the artist are based on this idea of cubism and geometric shapes as well as on Cézanne’s color palette.
