Isometric Illustration

I was invited to illustrate the work of GNS Science, the New Zealand Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences.

Their work is to prepare Aotearoa for natural disasters and climate change. They study geology, seismology, volcanology, geophysics as well as nuclear science.

The challenge was to visually understand all of their actions, to represent their premises, their issues and the particularities of the territory on a single visual.

This illustration was then used in their annual report accompanied by 4 other case studies which show certain elements in more detail.
